It was only so-so. It did not have the action, fighting or stunts that was on par with the previous Jackie Chan movies. This was rather laid back. Maybe he is getting old. 
The cab ride at the beginning was tightly choregraphed and pulled off. The fight scene where he was trying to get dressed and put his pants on was the best out of the film.
My son enjoyed it, so that made it worth the admission price.
Jennifer Love Hewitt though, was a mix of bland and humorous. She has come great facial expressions and could easily become the female version of Chris Tucker. (Not sure if that would be a good thing, but you get the idea...)
