Any true techno fans can appreciate these two. They both performed at Area One Festival. They were amazing to watch. The way the moved the crowd, the music, everything. I don't have the vocabulary to describe what an awe-inspiring site it was. They could've asked the crowd to crawl on their bare stomachs over a bed of broken glass, vomit, and hampster pee and we'd have done it.

they are definitely well respected DJs. Did you get fuked up? Saw Okie at the Music Conference in Miami awhile ago.

Didn't get fucked up, but still appreciated it nonetheless. Damn, seein oakie in Miami must have been mindblowin.

i saw oakenfold in dallas a couple of months ago. it was one of the best and biggest raves i've been to. he played hard, hard shit all night. it was amazing.

i also saw him play at pacha in ibiza. there he was playing more progressive trance and house.

i completely understand when you say there are no words to describe that feeling.

Even if I<m more into the smooth jazzy house grooves I must admit that Oak is kindda special..... did you people know that he was into hip-hop in NY right before switching to techno.............

i have seen them both spin in san francisco, but not at the same time. Was hoping to catch oakenfold in toronto about a week ago or so, but my flight was a day or 2 before. Too bad.

travelling, and tranceport must be oakenfolds best CDs

I look forward to seeing Cox spin next time he's in Austin or Houston and I can get tickets. I saw Oakenfold spin at the Frequency Clear Rave in HOuston a few months back...The Dread couple and myself had a bad ass time there. It was rather large in my opinion for an outdoor venue I forgot the final #'s but there was at least 30k in the main venue area when Oakenfold was spinning

They even brought LTJ Bukem and let him play in the Trance stage right after Oakenfold.

What are some of your fav's by Carl Cox??

Personally I can't stop listening to Dr Funk. I always seem to get to it whenever I do Squats and that opening with the Sax is tight

Actually tx, I've never listened to Carl Cox before I heard his set. I know, its almost sacriligious, but I never had a chance to hear what he played. But the next time I'm in Chicago, I'm hittin up the Virgin mega store and gettin anything with his name on it.
