Satanic Goatslayer!!!

You know I have long since wondered what the workout routine consists of for the one SG??! I mean I have seen you mention stones and log lifts which lead me to believe you are into the pursuit of strength. Then again maybe its just a practical application to build strength to help you carry dead bodies.

Just curious as to what a Cannibal can learn from a Goatslayer??!

Strength and Honor

My training style is unorthodox. Up until a little while ago, I had no weights and no membership to a gym. But I had a lot of property, so I figured I could develop something without weights.

I started squatting with stones on a platform, and also used the stones for deadlifts, farmers walks, overhead presses etc....

After watching an older WSM, I decided to make myself one of those notched logs for presses, and have been using that for quite some time now. I just bolt more wood or steel on the end of it if I need extra weight.

I pull "sleds", though my sleds are just big square pieces of steel with walls on all sides that I throw rocks and bricks on. It tears up the lawn, but I don't care for mowing it anyway.

I obtained an olympic set (barbell, DB handles) and have been using that for about a year now. I stick with mostly compound lifts. I mainly use a combination of some or all of clean+press, snatches, one armed deads, front squats, push presses, curls, weighted dips+chins, bent over rows etc..

Yeah, I guess you could say I train for strength. I'm not all too concerned with aesthetics, but I'm definately not fat or anything, though from time to time I do sport an ethanol belly, depending on the season.

How about you? I'd like to know what kind of things you're up to, my routine could use a change.

You REALLY are out there!:alien: :alien: :alien:

It's hard to tell if you are serious, but that sounds like a pretty cool workout. Rather eccentic:supercool

And quite oldschool.........DEFINITELY oldschool.

What is up dude? Are you still shooting parabolan or Laurabolan into your eyes? Seriously, what As do you use? Also, is your diet all goat? No pussy? haha...:fro:

Hey Jim,

I've since switched to Windex shots into my sternum. I find the streak-free action to be helping my recovery immensely.

I don't use AAS, but I do use bottled blood from convicted mass murderers, they say convicts have a higher test level than most other men.

Diet? Mostly consists of roadkill, human flesh, variety meats, moonshine, labia, and the odd strain of Ebola.

I have my body down to a pseudo-science.

SATANIC GOATSLAYER!

Lets get an update on your training my friend. Last I heard the deadlift was approaching very respectable levels. Its been awhile.

Time for the new numbers...dont be shy.

That was enlightening. Now put your drag makeup on with a belt sander.

Hannibal,

Since I last talked with you, I had been laying off the deads and just concentrating on the GM's, cleans, push presses and reverse hypers (I rigged something up) mostly, then I decided to go for a ORM on the deadlift. I tried my previous PR before my layoff - 5 and some small change - got the first one no problem, thought I could pull another and threw my back out. I took about 2 weeks off, then slowly (still am) building my back up into shape. Slow fucking process though.

So I've been playing with some highland game events in my backyard and pulling my new POS sled around. I still do the sandbags and all, but I'm FUBAR if I try to do any cleans or anything of that sort.

I've been talking with one of my associates about getting an axle once I get back into the loop. I've seen some folks do C&J's with one and it looks like fun. Have you ever seen that? I like the odd lifts.

I'll talk with you later, my friend.

Have you tried doing any band work for your back after hurting it? Hannibal got Spatts doing band work after she hurt her back doing dl's, and it got her back into shape pretty quickly.

Yeah, Hannibal's been preaching the bands to me for a while now. I should order some soon. Where's the cheapest place to get quality bands?

http://boards.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=138024

Spatts and I posted a thread demonstrating some of the ways that you can use Bands for ACTIVE Recovery. This is what she used to come back from her injury...and now her back is stronger than ever. I would definitely reccomend Band Good Mornings...and Ab Pulldowns...EVERYDAY. The rest you can do as needed...and increase your volume as you adjust to the new workload.

You know where to find me if you have questions my sadistic friend.

come on now SG. just curious.

Sorry SAGAT, I didn't see your post the first time.

I'm 5'10, about 205 now, never had my BF tested, so I don't have a clue on that.

I also have a faded yellow Iron Maiden headband that I wear with acid wash jeans and cork boots.

When the sky is blue I mutilate myself with rusty blades.
