Sample Powerlifting Routine

Not that I am a big believer in canned routines, but can one of you PL vets tell me if the routine shown at the bottom of the page is typical of a powerlifting routine?

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I have no choice but to train with the 6-7 basic compound exercises that you can do in a power rack, and if the routine outlined is fairly legit, then I'm up for giving it a try. My only objective when I lift is increasing my strength, but I don't want to waste my time with a flawed plan. The 5x5 is cutting it for me any longer.

First off it looks like a tapering program for the last 5-6 weeks before a competitiong. Secondly I don't think it's a very good program and if followed on a regular basis will cause severe overtraining of the CNS.
