Samoth, bored, taking questions until laundry is finished.

I spent the day in an arboretum and forrest today. I picked up a snake that was over 3 feet long and aggressive as hell. He went nuts. It made me jump a little when he was coiling up and striking at me, but I'm not really afraid of snakes.

However, I just had tick crawl up my right tricep just now and you would think a bear was in the room with me. I got up and swatted at it about ten times. It dropped somewhere, and now I don't know where it is. SHIT!

Questions:

1. would you pick up a 3 foot snake in the woods which you knew was not poisonous?
2. do ticks freak you out as badly as they do me?
3. have you ever gotten a tick in a weird place. I got one inside my ear canal once!!!!

1) No.
2) No, unless there's a lime threat, as is sometime the case in WI.
3) Nowhere wierd, no.

I was a chem major for three years before switching over to physics, so that should answer any basic periodic table questions.

I was a chem/psych double major. did you ever have any accidents in lab? I ruined plenty of clothing with some pretty weird shit.

I never really did anything super cool. The labs in inorganic chem was probably the most interesting, as we got to play with lots of cool equipment and stuff.

Some holes in old shirts from splashing chems, but I never got to see or participate in any cool accidents.

There are only so many times that I can oohhh and aaahhh over running one more mass spectrometer exp.
 
Would you prefer to date/marry a chick with a Ph.D in a physical science from a prestigious university who was just "average" looking, or a Victoria Secret model whot graduated from a New Orleans' public high school?

One can easily find instructions on the interwebs or on Bluelight before mods delete it, lol. There's one or two components that are rather difficult to obtain. I've never tried, though.

I know 3 different methods for making it. I had to learn the various methods to manufacture meth, the chemicals and everyday houseold materials involved in order to defend clients accused of manufacturing meth or having all the precursors to manufacture meth.

I've developed a few required standards for dating over the years, but I'm not that extreme. I tend to go for people quite unlike me, but I would probably be better off with someone with similar interests. I don't go for anyone that's not in or graduated from college anymore, so a HS grad would be out of the question. Looks are entirely in the eye of the beholder, obviously, since I posted a really cute chick ITT and no one seemed to agree (obviously, they're all wrong, but...).

The prestige whoring part of my schtick is derived from reading XOXOHTH for the past several years, lol.

I haven't seen enough to judge that adequately. My taste is more towards the younger crowd like the chick below, so I'd have a skewed opinion anyway.

They're commonplace over at XOXOHTH, whether for personal, academic, or clerkship information. That's where I got the idea, and I kind of like reading them. They also function well when you're waiting for two loads of laundry to finish. Crap, I still have half an hour.

They're all the same female. I was saving them for karma messages, but I ran out earlier today.

I'm a horrible judge of age. I'm great with weight and bodyfat for males or females, but I could never judge age very well. All I know is that I've always had a fondness for younger-looking females. I highly doubt I could find much in a female under 18 years old... I just like the younger or baby-face look compared to the older, mature look. I've never been a big fan of huge chests, either. I dunno, I've always been that way. I can date a girl without intent of having sex, too, so I suppose I'm pretty far removed from the norm, lol.

We were metal and had the image, but were not bad by any means. We stuck to our metal selves, and deemed those not metal unworthy of our attention. (Needless to say, none of us really dated in HS, lol.)

No trouble, fights, drugs... we just cared about metal and music and everything related. The image helped us stay a unified group with an image and coolness/toughness while intentionally alienating us from the masses.

We totally ruled.
