Anyone know what this means? This chick I've been talking to through emails puts it at the beginning of every email. I asked her what it means but she hasn't replied yet.

Salve means "Hello" in Latin. It's opposite "Vale" means goodbye.

Sounds like she would be kind of an artsy, "cultured" chick. I bet if you went to her apartment she would have a variety of expensive cheeses, strange produce, and a bucket full of hummus.
