Sachets or vials?

I'm sure vials will be the hands down winner as far as preference for use. Easier, safer, etc.

But those satchets sure are a lot flatter...

Yeah don't worry bro I know all about it. I was just offering another option for people. I like the idea of sachets for int shipping then transferring it to vials for ease of use. Not a fan of pre-drawing syringes.

That's the way to go. Once you open the sachet, you want to empty it. It is not suitable for storage once opened. Empty sterile vials can be easily found. Just keep an eye on cleanliness - every time you transfer, the risk of contamination is there.

I did hear one good pointer about transferring into vials: before you inject the contents into the vial, insert an extra needle to allow for the displaced air to escape.

Yes the extra needle helps air escape and allows for a faster transfer. Once more thing I have always told people to do with satchets is once drawing all the oil from the packet remove the needle and place a syringe filter plus a new needle and inject into the sterile vial. That will remove and possible particles that might have entered in the transfer and the high BA% should prevent any bacteria from multiplying.

are satchets still available or did those places go down too?

As far as I know the countries that they are from are legal to produce and/or they are not US friendly countries. Hard to shut them down. Only way the US has any control is trying to stop it through customs.
