Running with Steroids!

A little help pleae.

I am 35 years old.

I am 5'9 175.

I have lifted for several years but just recently became somewhat addicted to running....I recently ran a half marathon and I am training for a Marathon in Jan. 2009.

I recently(last 6 months) did a cycle of winny and also did a cylce of Anavar. Both great results. But I did have some issues with fluid building up in the fronts of my shins and was not able to run for a while. ALso, I noticed my joints being dry..Especially my knees....Assuming from the winny.

Okay...So recently I was going to start another cycle of winny but as soon as I started the fluid came back in the front of my legs(shins) and I could not run. Or I would have to stop and then start, repeatedly.

MY goals...Are to stay trim but have some size.....I do not like the look of water retention.....Naturally I have "chubby" cheaks and I do not like that.

SO what I am asking.....................

WHat gear is good for someone who wants to put on a little size but stay ripped as possible. WHo runs around 20 to 25 miles a week.

Will the Anavar put water rentionon?
Will the Anavar dry out my joints? Making it hard to run.

If I decide to do Anavar...HOw much should I take and how long.???

I would rather not use pinz. Just in case someone recommends some other gear...

I know this is long and there is alot of questions....Please feel free to advise.

Not sure about cycling advice for non-bodybuilders to be honest...
 
I think for your water retention and losing the extra weight in preparation for your marathon, a proper diet and a good training split would be enough....no need for aas.

what cycles have you taken? was winny + anavar your first cycle?

do you understand what a good pct looks like?

Thanks guys.....Yes I do work out......Working out is my first love......I should have stated that......I have just became addicted to running.....I should have explained better......

I would consider myself in "great shape" ....I would also say I am very strong for my size........I am just trying to explain I am into lifting much more thatn running....

PCT?

I took ANavar alone and I took Winny alone......One cycle each....Differnet times......Thanks again!
 
brp, PCT means post cycle therapy.

If you don't know about that, i'm sorry and dnt take offense to it, but you have no business doing a cycle.

You are probably right. But truthfully I didnt realize you needed PCT for Anavar......Or even winn. COuld you school me....No offense taken
 
you need pct for anything bro...without proper pct, you aren't going to keep most of your gains and you're going to hurt yourself bigtime

give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish and he'll eat for life....

I could tell you what pct is, but my advice is look around the website and read up on pct and diff. cycles and how aas affects your body

Steroids are usually used to build mass. Doing marathon's and training for marathons wreak havoc on your muscle tissue. Exxtended running literally eats away your muscle. Running 25 miles a week wil rape your lower body mass, and also decrease upper body strength.

I would investigate all steroids, and focus on the ones that increase your red blood cell count while giving minimal if any water retention. That's what you need fo rrunning.

Aso, you need to decided if lifting or running is more important. It is pretty clear you really like running, so stick with it. And, in that case, you do not need to take steroids for marathon running my man. Weight holds you back, and steroids promote weight gain.
