running every morning?

I have a question for those of on here. I’m thinking about running every morning like for 20-30 minutes around my neighbhorhood.
What are some tips you can give me as some who is totally not athletic?
Do I need to buy expensive shoes? What are some tips when it comes to nutrition and hydration before I go running?
 
My best tip is make sure you get some high quality shoes. You need proper support.
 
Do what the people from Kenya do, which is run Barefoot, that's the most healthy way to run.
 
when it comes to nutrition don't run on a full stomach. you will lose your lunch every time
