These are the two routines i've followed the past year. can anyone give input on it? what you like? don't like about it? just give me your opinion. Or even better, recommend me a new, awesome routine you've tried and loved.
3 day split.
day 1 = chest/back
day 2 = legs
day 3 = shoulders/bi's/tri's
day 4 = rest; mild cardio for 30 minutes/abs
*each muscle group twice per week.
-OR-
day 1 chest/bi
day 2 rest-cardio
day 3 back/tri
day 4 legs
day 5 shoulders
day 6 rest-cardio
*time spent in gym, normally is 1 1/2 - 2 hours a day*
i train with high intensity/moderate weight... my reps consist of 6,8,10,12... (no specific order, normally i increase weight, drop reps per set)
bigger muscles (chest/back/shoulders/quads) ill get in probably....5 excercises, 22 sets total?
smaller muscles, bis/tris/traps/calves, etc. ill train probably 3-4 excercises,10 -12 sets total? and smaller muscle groups ill train last set to sub failure.
anyone what to critique that split?
need advice. i'm going to go on a cycle soon, and id like advise on this.
