Routine missing from sticky?

Its been a couple of years since I have been training and I have spent the last couple of weeks getting my body used to the stress again.

Now I am ready to start getting back into a routine (add muscle mass only at this stage) I thought I'd check out the Routines sticky post in this forum.
It seems to be missing a vital routine - one for beginners! I could start with a 5x5 but as I have not been training for a couple of years is this really the best thing to do?

Anybody out there got a good 3 day split (2 bodyparts per day) for beginners?

You might want to just try something light, such as HST. Not even for the whole "ideal enviroment for hypertrophy" behind it, but just to give your body a chance at adjusting to lifting again, starting with light weights, and progressing through the 10's and 5's. Once you finish it, you can start any other program.

'sides, if not HST, I'd recommend a fullbody routine 3x a week with minimal volume, utilizing only compound exercises anyway.
 
I'd go for the full body 3x per week. Pick one day to do a little extra for chest and shoulders, another for back and finally legs. Do a couple of sets per exercise and don't waste time sitting around resting. Try to get everything done in around 45 minutes. After a couple of months take another look.
