Because he shut up the legion of Jay fans that clamored for their hero to dethrone Ronnie. Even when Ronnie was at his 80% best and Jay cheated his ass off, all Jay could manage was 2nd place. So we had to listen to 2 years about how Jay was robbed and should have won. Fucking whiner.

I'm no Jay fan at all, his face and hair bothers me, but he doesn't have a gut. Ronnie has remarkable size and definition, and I respect the work he puts in to get there, but he should just be disqualified for that gut.

The 01 Olympia was diruetic tested... Jay flunked for 5 different diuretics. Ronnie didn't use them, but it took Jay 5 different ones to get in the shape of his life and he still lost.

Rather than owning up to his mistake when he was busted... he instead got a lawyer and threatened to sue. the only reason the IFBB gave in and dropped the charges was because after Jay there was not really any other contenders worth 2nd place.
