Rollin up blunts? (TOBACCO products only)

Does anyone here roll blunts?

I never have, and I am terrible at rolling joints.

I was at the Cypress hill, wu-tang, Rage against the machine show and it seemed like everyone had these sweet smelling blunts rolled up.

Where can I get blunt paper? A normal smoke shop? Do I ask for a blunt rap or is that illegal (like asking for a "bong" is)

Is there any trick to rolling up a blunt?
 
My mom used to just buy the rolling papers at the gas station. You just ask for rolling papers.
 
Yeah, just ask for some papers at the smoke shop or whatever. You could buy a cigarello, splice it open with a razor and add a little mary jane, close it up, light it up.
 
Wow are you white or what, lol. Jk bro, get any cigar and split it open and empty the contents. Then fill it with whatever *fine tobacco you please. Roll that shit up tight and lick that bitch shut...enjoy.

I do believe Phillies Blunt's are what gave way to the actually terminology, not sure which came first.

those are like cigar wrappers. I guess that is what I would ask for. Probably have to go to a head shop for those unless you live in an urban place.
 
A nice Cuban would be good. i don't think the fruity blunt 'wraps' would be all that great. Kind of like choosing a fruity girly drink at the bar over a tasty home-brew
 
i loved how those blunts at the concert smelled, sorta sweet almost, i was thinking a nice chocolate one would compliment my "tobacco" nicely.

I`m telling you man, get a swisher sweet cigarello and blunt it out and enjoy. The paper alone won`t give you what you`re looking for..
 
never really noticed any diff in smell when rolling blunts with reg. swisher sweets or watermelon kiwi philly blunts.. i'm pretty sure its just a marketing scheme.. i highly doubt anyone even buys phillys to smoke anymore..

anyhow a really good way to smoke and be less conspicious at clubs and shit is to take a black and mild or you can take a flavored swisher sweet that has the tip on the end.. you roll the gar through your fingers softly till the contents start falling out.. and you can keep rolling it back and forth through your 3 fingers till all of it has fallen out then procede to fill it with your finest herbal product.. you can than go to clubs walk around etc and not really have to even worry about peeps thinking you are blowing weed smoke out of the gar cause its a black and mild.

I was talking to a kid from MI the other day and he couldn't believe that I had never smoked out of a bong til college. All we smoked was blunts growing up - that's it. The occassional joint or advil bottle turned pipe, but just blunts. I had to search out peeps who smoked blunts in college cause I missed em.

And this was b/c we never had anywhere to go. Nobody had house parties or anything so we'd spend most of the night driving round and smokin blunts, stopping to say hi to other peeps, chasin nani, etc

if it was only that easy

it takes a certain amount of finesse to not ruin the blunt

i'm not great at it but I have friends that only smoke blunts and can roll a tight fatty in a couple minutes

I just smoke my bowl unless I'm with a group of friends or something
 
Once you've rolled a few you can break it with your fingers, no razor blade needed. Although it is ideal

got a boy who can roll a blunt with one hand while driving a stick shift..

takes alot of practice to do such a thing..

If I ever see anyone using a blade to cut a blunt they would get punched in the face.

get some dutch masters, got the extra paper to wrap with and comes in some nice flavors. had grape last week. nice.

cutting would be harder than splitting it with your fingers..
 
Around here you can buy them at almost any gas station or convience store. Usually they are behind the counter, and no they are not illegal.

it's treatin me well, total lifestyle and culture change. I think it may take me a few more months totally get into it though. Weather and chicks are amazing tho :)
 
all my friends do is smoke blunts it fucking sucks and wastes weed and money and kills your lungs.

and out of my main friends im the only one who can roll

u can gut a cigar, or get a blunt wrap

don't buy a good cigar for gettin blunted, they aren't rolled the same as cheapos and fall apart when split.
i made that mistake and wasted $12 on a good cigar.
i was a blunthead for about 3 months, right after i graduated college.
i worked with a bunch of ruffians who only smoked blunts on account of the low quality weed they blazed...i didn't like the harshness at first, but i soon grew accustomed to it and got megablazed even off dirt weed. it got to the point where i was buying a pack of phillies before work and smoking up the whole pack before the day was thru (with other people). needless to say i felt like shit and my lungs were shot. so i promptly quit and got me a pack of white girls instead. haven't touched a blunt in a few yrs, proly never again.

how to twist a blunt varies with brand. like i said before premium cigs just don't work, they are to fraile and fall apart. i suppose you could try the hollow out method but i wouldn't fug with it. phillies are the easiest to twist IMO. slice it down the middle, peel off the outside layer. this ladder step is extremely important, that outside layer is cheap garbage and is harsh as hell. no need to inhale more tobacco than necessary, though many forego this step, fuggin rookies. as well, in the mouth piece of cheap cigars is a piece of carboard to keep the butt from collapsing. remove this promptly, disgusting to smoke, it's goddamn carboard. moisten the outside and inside of the blunt, not too much though, too soggy and it will tear. personally i never used more than a gram or two of weed, pack it gently with your forefinger and work your way left to right or vice versa. if it feels a little loose when finished pinch one end and lightly shake untill it feels firm. tear off the excess tobacco and bam, you getting blazed.
another good brand is backwoods, good flavor and they stay nice and fresh in the seal pack. the techinque is different though, you have to unroll these instead of the slice method and it's a bit more difficult. the tobacco leaves have veins in them and you don't want this in your blunt, too harsh and they have a tendency to tear. so if you got a long enough leaf, tear and discard the vein.

lol@ more than a gram or two. huge fucking different between a gram and 2 grams. also, id like to see anyone get more than 2gs into a standard size cigar and roll it up without fucking it up

rolling two blunts together is how we did it, you can cram more than 2 grams in there if you know what you're doing.
but yeah, the avg blunt proly only has .75-1g of weed.
such a terrible way to smoke out, esp good shit.
why mess with the flavor when the old one was fine?

ya agreed, iv been trying to convince my friends to start using my piece again but they always insist on blunts..

have you ever seen those rolling papers that arnt precut, its just a sheet, and you can make jays as long as you want/can get them without fucking up. my friend brought them back from france and it was the first time id ever seen them

For blunt wraps? You should be able to go to any gas station or convenient store and buy them.
