As a Christian, are you more concerned with God's Laws, or the immoral, imperfect laws made by corruptable men? As a Christian, you should worry more about what is illegal in the eyes of mankind, and what is wrong/evil in the eyes of God. Last time I read the Bible, I didn't see any passage where Jesus, Moses, the 12 Apostles, etc. spoke out against AAS. Furthermore, ask yourself if your usage of AAS will be for good purposes in your life, or for evil purposes.

No!

If steroids are illegal in your country, then you are breaking the law, which Christian's obviously frown apon.

Please, send me all your gear and I will dispose of it for you! (wink, wink)

LOL!

haha fucking guy, beat me to it.

I'm going through the same dilema and I'm coming to the conclusion that Hulkster stated. I truly believe that AAS can help you accomplish good if you take them right, and hold true to good intentions. However if you have bad intentions then I feel you are doing wrong.

I like taking all sorts of illegal drugs. Does god think this is ok? How about cheating on my income taxes?

It's okay as long as you follow the 10 Commandments.

1..Steroids are supreme. Thou shall not put prohormones before them.

2...Thou shall not purchase false or graven replicas of good juice.

3...Thou shall not cycle in vain.

4...Remember the "time off" and keep it holy.

5...Honor thy d-bol and testosterone.

6...Thou shall not kill -- your liver.

7...Thou shall not commit bridging

8...Thou shall not taketh the deca, for the wrath of the Lord will come upon you and render your dick useless.

9...Thou shall not bear false witness and testify against your source.

10...Thou shall not covet thy neighbors gear.

this could go so many ways...I think if you are trying to improve your body/mind by using AAS responsibly, then aren't you being a good steward of a body (that's not yours anyway)?

Testosterone improves bone density, lowers body fat, lowers cortisol and insulin levels, combats depression, promotes good skin and helps brain functions. These are all good things.

So, I guess its up to your personal convictions. For some Christians, drinking even a drop of alcohol convicts them. I personally think they are living in bondage. Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine (at a wedding). What are you feeling about this issue? Do you feel heavily convicted not to use AAS?

As for the legality issue...genarr3 had a good point. Do you cheat on your taxes? Do you break the speed limit? Run red lights? Fail to stop at a stop sign? How about fornication? Ever had sex outside of marriage? I'm not saying any of these are right. But, come on...are you really struggling with this? And, how does this compare with other areas of your life?

I certainly dont believe you'd be breaking any commandments. Remember what Jesus said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matt 22:37-40)

So, love God...and love others. Pray about it. If you feel like God is "telling" you not to use AAS, then don't. If you feel you can benefit from them and by benefitting, better serve God...

give me a break...

look if god intended you to be a certain way as a result of high levels of hormones then he would have made you that way...

Hehe...

6 out of 10 - I'm going to hell.

I dont do the bridging thing though - I don't believe in it. I just never come off - but then again I guess that gets me on number 4.

Oh well, shit happens

LMAO, classical excuse for justifying the use of AAS while being a Christian.
LOL! No shit, of course we don't expect to read anything about AAS in the bible considering it was written thousands of years ago, hence, we conclude God doesn't really care, whether we use gear or not. LOL@HULK(Just messing with you bro, dont take it personal)

JUICESEEKER, hey man the best advice I can give you is to do what you consider right. As long as you don't fuck up someone elses life then its your call since its your life. Most important, remember the body is a temple so take care of it, and always respect it, those things I'm pretty sure God appreciates. good luck.

you cheat on your taxes?? you sir are the lowest lifeform on earth...

Juceseeker,

God told me to have you send me your gear and I could forgive you your transgressions.

I hope you realize I was being sarcastic... I found it ironic to bring God into the subject...

i suppose you can find something in your bible which would make taking illegal substances a sin. good youre not a catholic- just breathing is a sin for those guys

Thou shall not taketh the deca, for the wrath of the Lord will come upon you and render your dick useless.

Nelson, that shit is fucking hilarious. And no, I don't think taking AAS makes you a bad christian. I'm catholic, but we get away with murder.:D

I think if you can't do a good cycle... you might not be strong enough to climb up to heaven....

and if you end up going to hell... you should be able to get a job as a bouncer for the Devil's nightclubs... or hell in general...

There is but one way to heaven and that's through God's Son Jesus Christ. He's the one that paid and died for our sins, no one else. It clearly states in the Bible "that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Now that does not say you have to be perfect or that by works you are saved. It's by Grace, a gift, that we are given this opportunity for salvation. Nothing else.

So, unless using anabolic steroids prevents you from accepting Christ then you have nothing to worry about.

The real question is will you accept Christ? Now that's a question.

If you spend your money on steroids, instead of the starving children of (fill in your favorite country here), you're going to fuckin hell. That's the facts, jack.

HELL.

MUHAHAHAHAHA! HEEEELLLL!

But while you burn, you'll have big muscles. And hell chicks, they dig that shit. Ooooh yeah. You can get it on with demon bitches. Think about it... hell might not be so bad?

Actually, in one of the books they cut from the New Testament, it sayeth:

"And the son procured QV tesosterone enanthate from Tijuana, and he did so hide it from the Roman at the border along with his heavenly mexican hashish, and he did so succesfully. And he did prosper upon his return, as his apetite was like the fathers and soon so was his strength. Jesus did bulk like a muthafucka."

So, as you can see... mabye there is hope after all? Its a complicated religious issue, and I can only present the facts. You have to decide for yourself.

I hate to burst your bubble there genius but actually, in hell, YOU would be one of the "hell chicks" or "demon bitches."

There is no such thing as a the "Holy Bible". First of all, God, nor Moses or even Jesus, gave it to man. It is a series of collected stories, statements and commandments slapped together by the religious hustlers of biblical times. At the Council of Nicea (in Nicea, Italy), back in 353 A.D., the Roman Catholic Pope gathered about 300 bishops at this council to discuss many issues, one of which was to create one singular, codified Bible. Why? Because different regions and groups of people were using different Bibles, based on what THEY wanted to believe. So the Council of Nicea added some things to the council that MOST BIBLES OF THAT TIME DID NOT CONTAIN, such as the APOCLAPSE, written by St. John after he supposedly "had a dream" of "fire and brimstone" and other nonsense ending the earth. Additionally, the Council of Nicea added some things that MOST BIBLES OF THAT TIME DID CONTAIN, such as the Book of Thomas, which was a collection of the sayings of Jesus. And why did the Council of Nicea drop the Book of Thomas? Because it basically stated that Jesus said there should be NO ORGANIZED CHURCH OF ANY KIND, among other things. Thus, the Catholic Church wasn't too happy about that, since it would render the POWERFUL CATHOLIC CHURCH as totally and complete worthless. Thus, in order to hold onto their power and control over the lives of human beings, the Council of Nicea ridded the Bible of the Book of Thomas in order to preserve their power. So basically, the modern day Bible has more to do with ORGANIZED CHURCH, than it actually does with Jesus. So all of you people are wasting your time reading the Bible. I just believe in God, that's it.

Follow the logic:

Fundamentally, Christianity is a mechanism for the suppression of self-love.

Vanity is the most potent form of self-love.

Hardcore Bodybuilding (especially the application of steriods) is vein.

In essence, the question transcends societal law and pertains far more to the distortion of ego and man's various forms of alienating himself from, in this instance, Christian principle.

You should make steroids your religion, therfore if you get busted you can fight your case in court, on the basis of " Freedom of Religion".

Give unto God what is God's; give unto Caesar what is Caesar's. You better stop cheating on your tax returns!

Juiceseeker, even though it isn't written in black and white in the bible, DON'T USE STEROIDS, God has told use while on earth we must obey man's law as his own. I am far from being the christian that I want to be, but I do use gear. You cannot look at it any other way than you are disobeying God if you do. There are no, your doing your body good, taking care of the temple, or any other excuse you can use. In God's eyes it's wrong.

I don't drink, smoke, use Narcotics (anymore), rob, kill, but as you know one sin is as much to God as another. I honestly don't think coming to the board is the best anwser either. if it truly bothers you then pray about it.

As a fellow Christian I would say that "it depends". Are you a new testament christian or an old testament christian. if you believe Jesus/God will forgive your wrongs because of your faith then don't sweat it. There are two things you need to show to make God happy. Your Love and your faith. does AAS compromise those......NO

It depends on your reason for doing them. If it is to bang more chicks and beat people up... I guess God would frown upon that. If it is to be a strong soldier of God and a beacon of health and inspiration to those around you... God might think it is cool.

What about fornication with young boys? Is that ok?

God the Father is perfect beyond all comprehension. There's nothing we can do good enough to approach him nor is there any sin that's worse than another that will have more weight in keeping us from him. Which is exactly why he sacrificed his son. If we accept that sacrifice -- intended solely for making us clean in his eyes -- he sees only the perfection of his son when he sees us.

I like this post so please don't take this the wrong way Eviscerator. :)

However, almost paradoxically, God's power is made perfect only through our weakness. That is, the more we give up our 'selves' for his sake, the more his is able to work through us. In fact we can do nothing on our own -- apart from him -- to better serve him.

In fact the cricifiction of Christ was a perfect example of this.

I see no room whatsoever for juice in a Christian's life. It just strikes me as hypocritical, which is why I hate religion to begin with.

Yeah, I hate religion too, all those rules and regulations no doubt imposed by other hypocritical humans.

But you won't be held to that, however, when it comes time to "meet your maker."

Don't let anyone fool you bro, a Christian's life is not perfection by any means. If you wish to impose that upon yourself all I can say is that would be a waste and a shame. Don't forget who the liar is man and what his goal is: to keep you from asking Christ into your life...by any means possible. Ignorance, false accustions and put-downs are all is his tools, believe me.

Christianity -- at least as I know it -- IS NOT about a lifestyle, but it is ALL about forgiveness.

In my opinion, lifestyle is empty, avoidance and separation while forgiveness is love, acceptance and life.

You don't need to look as far as the afterlife for that one man, just take a look at what goes on at your local prison. If that's not a heads-up for what's to come, then I don't know what would be.

I agree with you 40... working out, taking AAS and being a narcissist does not go hand in hand with being a good Christian. In the Bible people are encouraged to take care of their bodies because they are a gift. I don't think God had the Mr. Olympia contest in his mind when he said these things.

Bwahahahaha! A measly, pathetic little human being "killed God"? Humans can't even protect themselves from something as simple and minute as a virus and yet he's able to kill God?

Man God plays with things like infinity, time, creation of universes and the worlds in them as well the very thing that allows for life itself, and you actually believe that someone that was able to simply identify something already in existance, has something on God?

I'll tell you this man, you wouldn't even so much as have a nanosecond of time or your next breath or thought if it weren't for him. He's given us so much and as powerful and awesome as he is, HE'S GOOD. Aren't we damn fortunate that he is?

"Science killed him"? Man science is nothing more than an observation and explaination of God's amazing work.

Relax buddy. No need to start preaching. I was playing the devil's advocate Nelson suggested.

Its a metaphor. Science gave people a way to explain the world, so they no longer need religion.

But um... while we're at it, why did god make the sky blue?

Nelson Montana said:
Where are all the members who scream for "evidence" when you need them?

Evidence is everywhere. Whether one chooses to acknowledge it is a choice. People choose to ignore it for many reasons: pain, fear, guilt, etc. But every man knows deep down he's there. What we don't know is the love, understanding and what he has done for our sake. He takes us just the way we are, all we need to do is ask.
