What are you taking? And just a quick little tip. Just start making a habit of using that turn signal. I used to get tickets for that NOT using it all. Now I can't stop myself from doing it all the time! I even do it for pulling into my own driveway! You need to make a habit out of it. Just so that this shit doesn't happen again.

I have also been pulled over for supposedly...."not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign!". I fucking hate that shit!!! It happened to me a few weeks back. I came to the stop sign, stopped, looked both ways and then proceeded.

I mean for crying out loud! The fucking cop was right there on the corner! I saw him! And the fucker has the nerve to say that I didn't stop! I told him..." officer, I stopped! I saw you there the whole time eyeballing me! What the hell makes you think that I'm NOT going to come to a complete stop when you're there looking at me!? Of course dickhead didn't say shit and just gave me the ticket.

Now everytime I come to a stop sign. Wether there is a cop around or not. Wether it is 1pm or 1am. I come to a COMPLETE STOP AND HONK THE HORN FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS STRAIGHT!!! That way if there is a cop " hiding ", he can see that I DID COME TO A COMPLETE STOP!

OMG I thought I was the only one that did that.Must be a Miami thing.My wife is always yelling at me for doing that shit,she is like why are you putting the turn signal at cosco to turn into the parking space lmao.

thing is I usually allways use my turn signal, and dont speed much either. Thats what really sucks, hes gotta get me at 1am. The cop can blow me he was probably just mad because I was in a new bmw and on his salary he cant get one haha

I have a lot of buddies that are cops, and they are solid guys, that treat people right when they are dealing with them, and dont act like dicks off duty just because they are cops. I think the hiring process is much tougher up here, as there seems to be a lot more people in the US that are cops, that really should not ever have been one under any circumstances! I think they also get paid better up here too, as none of my buddies are hurting for cash

Maybe it is different where you live. Here for the most part local cops are guys that got the shit kicked out of them in high school and now have a big chip on their shoulder. Even my one friend (he is a little different, he's not a local cop he has a bomb dog) always is talking about his "get out of jail free card" better known to us as his badge.

you have a deep misconception of the police force. Yes, there are bad cops/worthless cops, but a LOT put their life on the line to serve and protect. Granted, there are bad/good area, compare LA to SF, huge difference. However, your blanket statement insults cops everywhere, which is wrong and displays ignorance towards the police force. A lot of them DO go out to serve. My brother died in the line of duty with the DEA (he was a cop before that), and he dedicated his life to being the best he can be and serving. Sure, talking a lot of shit based on your friend (who is a pathetic loser that could not even do his job) is fine, but reality is, YOU run away from a well trained cop in most cities, they'll catch your ass fast and swift. Most people hate cops and talk a lot of shit....but when it comes to living in SUDAN (has 0 cops) well they rather live in the USA! Without a police force, country after country would have anarchy, god knows that's horrible. If any of you have been to Argentina during the eve of their so call overthrow, anarchy is the worst thing ever. People are morons, and they will stay that way - they need a government to rule them with an iron fist.

This seems more like a C&C conversation rather than an AAS discussion. I am sorry to hear about your Brother. But I do think you also have a misconception of the topic. tommboy, Carth and myself are not talking about big city cops or FBI, DEA or ATF. We are talking about the local cops who make a living off of sudden speed limit changes down two lane roads in no name towns. We are talking about cops who act all big and bad next to the soccer Mom who gets pulled over in the minivan for doing 10mph over teh speed limit; but turns into a pussy the first time someone fights back or pulls a gun on them the one and only time in there career. I'm talking about local cops who now want radar guns. The ones who on a big night catch some 15 year old with a dime bag of weed. Cops around here helped get our taxes raised so they could by BP vests; even though no cop has ever even been shot at. Like I said I have all the respect in the world for Big city cops and even some federal LE. Giving a ticket to a guy who wasn't DUI, speeding or dangerous at 1am on a lonely road. Sorry, the cops a knob.

You make a valid point; however, like I said before NOT all cops are the same. I used to live in a small town in Alabama, god knows those cops did their job and they did it RIGHT.

Sure, they catch people for speeding, but that's their job. Sure, they catch people for weed, well pot is on state and federal levels, so they have to do something about it, they can't just let every high pothead go around driving. Put yourself in the cops' shoes and you'll feel much different.

Are there bad cops? sure. Just as there are bad people, there are bad people that become bad cops. However, overall, I give the policeforce respect, as they do put their life on the line - small or big town.

Cops don't raise your taxes, that's complete nonsense. Criminals raise your taxes more then cops. Do you know what the US government spends cleaning up meth labs per year? LOL, only if you knew the scale of the problem. That's where the taxes get raised. You got 10 meth labs within 50miles of each other in TN, what are you going to do? you have to clean them up. The cost per lab can be 100s of thousands to MILLIONS! that's right, some SUPER-labs can cost up to $2mil USD to decontaminate.

Sure, the ludicrous notion of blaming a cop for raising your taxes by wearing something to protect his life is great to say. But, I'll put you in his seat and you'd have 10BP vest in your back seat and 2 on you just to protect your ass. Heck, I know I would, my life is #1.

I totally feel ya bro! I was pulled over (when off) for failure to yeild with no one else on the road at Midnight. I hadn't been drinking. I figured it was a drunk check and he ticked me cause he didnt have anything else on me. Either that or he saw me gettin it on with a chick on the hood of my car prior to pulling me over and was just exercising his couriousity.

I take it you know where Coco Plum is? In Coral Gables. Well...I used to live there a couple of years back. I had a Porsche 911 GT Turbo back then. In that community the speed limit is 35. No lie bro! I'm on my way to work doing fucking 36mph! The fucking PIG DIRTY COCK SUCKING COP pulls me over. Starts fucking yelling at me for no reason. He says...." hey! do you have any fucking idea how fast you were going? I said...35mph just like the speed limit says sir.
