He's the best player in the world. Head to head against Nadal he's still something like 4-8 though.
 
That was a great match. Federer has like 34 wins in a row at Wimbledon now. Tied Borg's 5 straight Wimbledon wins. If Federer wins the US Open this year, it will be his second straight year of winning all 4 grand slam tourneys. He's made over $30million just from prize money winnings alone. He is the best hands down.

he never won the french. nadal owns him on the clay court. nadal just turned 21 so there is going to be some good rivalry for awhile

So because the looks on their faces are similiar in your estimation, you compare someone who has one the big one 11 times to someone who never won one? That's funny.

Comparing someone to Marino is associating them with not being able to come through in the clutch, not being able to close the deal or not being able to win the big game/match. To insinuate that applies to Federer is insane.

Would you apply your anecdote to Tiger Woods? Because that's who I would compare Federer to. Dominance.

all i'm saying is that if you asked roger how he feels i'll bet you that the pain from those losses in the french open fair outweighs the joy of all 11 majors added together. . .it's the nature of the beast. . .and, it's economies of scale. . .you and i would be ecstatic with that kind of success. . .roger feels like a failure. . .that's one of the big differences between guys like him and guys like you and me. . .
