ripping audio from Youtube

Aright ass crackers, here is a new one for you.

Found some old songs on youtube that I haven't located the singles for on any torrent sites. Some of them have original videos, some just have the typical slide show for video productions (ghettoz stylz)

Anyway, I don't give a shit.

c00pster (bless his little rotten heart) showed me how to rid the video captures from youtube and such to my hard drive. But all I want is to rip the audio part to put on my MP3 player.

Help a fag out ok? (cause you know strongmo will want to know this too)

Well if you can find a free converter, just install the download helper add on for firefox. It lets you download anything streaming and you can select to just download the audio.

lotta programs out there.. the one i used to use just stopped working on those new VEVO songs, but i just found another that works.

Free YouTube to MP3 Converter - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

you copy/paste the youtube address and it downloads the .FLV file and then converts to mp3. lets you choose the audio quality of the mp3s as well. takes a little longer than the older one i had, but this works on VEVO videos which was hard for me to find.
