I haven't kept track of all the journals run on here, but the program doesn't 'end' per se. It might be 2 months, or it might be 6, but after a while, you'll have to adjust the program to keep the gains going. For example, you might attempt squat PRs twice per week instead of three times. Eventually, you'd reduce that to once per week and you'd then be doing something similar to the intermediate 5x5.
Following the program as it is on paper might end, but there is a natural progression of things to do to keep the gains coming.
