RIP sunfire ...

RIP car

Women driving cars....

Will your insurance cover something?

Umm, you are supposed to change the oil in it once in a while. See that lever that says hood? Pull on it and check the fluids, m'kay?

Car murderer! Car murderer! :LMAO:

It was only a BABY!!!

Anything less than a 1995 with 190,000 miles is only just beginning it's life -- and y'all can guess why I make that comment!

those engines are dirt cheap at the scrap yard, you can likely get a new engine and it put in for around 2500 tops

My car is offically dead. I will be a transit loving fool for the next while. On the upside I got home faster from work on the bus and subway then driving.

I've got something you can ride that's a little more private than public transpo.

I was talking about my Harley you dirty girl.

Cheers,
Scotsman

But in all seriousness ... superqt, what gypsie did you piss off??? :worried:

What, specifically, died in the engine? Anything short of a thrown rod or a turned main bearing shouldn't be fatal. If you tossed the timing belt, I don't think that GM 4-cylinder is an "interference" engine -- it won't bend the valves if the timing belt breaks.

Time to replace the engine with a more efficient model....i hear 4 hampsters with the hampster wheel is the most effient one.

Just keep a bag of Hammy chow in the back seat & you're golden.

1 of the 4 cylinders is working yeah I could fix it for $2000 but the car is not even worth that much no point save my money and get some better next go around or just go without I live in the city and transit here is great. Maybe I will just start renting cars on weekends or something I know a ton of people that live with out cars not the end of the world.

Awww I am sorry to hear that. Maybe the next car will last a bit longer. It never fails shit like this happens right in time for the holidays.

I dunno exactly what went wrong. All I know is it going to cost more then it is worth to fix it. My step father was the one that confimred that it was dead after a mechanice looked at it. He has always been my go to for car stuff as I really have not clue.

Javaguru don't make me put you over my knee :qt:

QT, ask your stepdad exactly what's wrong with it, and let us know. I for one am curious.
