I would NOT use it post workout....the milk, egg whites will slow avsorption and the davinchi syrup will make you sick.........I love it after dinner, before bed....as my final desert.............

Try to make it taste better.

I like to add a lot of stuff to my shakes. Recently I'm having post workout:

Banana
Blueberries
Oat (raw)
Flax (raw, whole)
Whey powder
Yeast
Lecithin
Avena Sativa
Ground Masala (for flavor)

In a base of
Milk
Soymilk

Most guys would probably barf on all the yeast and raw oat, but I love it. It also makes me take time to finish it because I'm literally eating my shake. I have to chew all that stuff, but that is good. Chewing -> salivary amylase -> more insulin release -> better uptake of nutrients.

For better taste, you can't go wrong with bananas, berries, and cinnamon.

The best thing is the Braun MultiQuick stick blender --$5 on ebay.

Creatine Tip: If you add creatine, don't let the shake sit around. Creatine rapidly degrades to creatinine when suspended.
