There has been post in recent days about reusing needles to split a pinning from say one delt to the next, and I think most (including myself) agree that it is much safer - to get a new pin.
MY question is towards the feasibility of reusing a 18 Ga. needle, to draw gear out of a vial. The 18 Ga, works really really nicely in drawing up gear quickly, where the 23 Ga. is not so cooperative. I only have a limited supply of 18 Ga. which I purchased specifically for drawing out of vials. when I draw the oil out with the 18 - I switch to a clean fresh 23 Ga. to pin with. But does anyone think it is ok, or wise/unwise to reuse the 18 Ga. just for this purpose and this purpose only? If I keep it capped and wrapped from the previous draw, do you think I could reasonably reuse the 18 Ga.??
