resuming cardio after sick time

I'm just getting off a nasty head cold and need to get some damn exercise. Should i wait a good amount of time before exercising? when will i know i am ready to exercise again?

I am still coughing and hacking up crap, but don't have any pain/congestion.
 
As long as your breathing isnt impaired by hitting the cardio i would say go for it! YOu just dont want to be the guy who starts hacking and coughing up stuff while on the crosstrainer LOL
 
Pretty sure that when you sweat...you lower you immune system and your ability to recover...
