Results from my blood test...

I had to get test levels checked for HRT. Here is my results. This is 9+ months post cycle.

test, total- 282 ng/dl range 260-1000

test, free- 63.1 ng/dl range 50.0-210.0

I was just barely above the minimum level on both. They indicated that everything was normal. WTF? For who? A 60 year old man. Glad I didn't go through my doc for HRT. He's a fuckin idiot.

Yes, I've encountered similar problems. Doctors think that as long as you are in "normal range" that you are okay. Which is a bunch of shit, because 80 year old men have testosterone levels between 350-450 ng/dl on average.

This is also true for other tests such as thyroid, glucose, etc. Doctors are pretty clueless on these things.

No. Had them checked about 3 months after my cycle. liver values were slightly elevated. Should be fine now. Didn't have to have that done for the HRT.


Patsfan- I had the bloodtest done at my regular doc, paid for by my health ins. Getting the HRT therapy from a place in Florida. Pm me for more info.

I have felt sluggish when off for probably the last 2 years or so. I figured my test levels would be that low.

The last time I had them checked, they were only slightly higher. The doc said I was fine and I believed him.

Yes, I have done 7 or 8 cycles over the years. With 5 or so heavy ones.


Slyder- I went through my doc for blood work. Going through a HRT clinic for the rest. They review your blood results and medical history and go from there.
