I think I'm getting this....tho I always used to just call it "crazy foot" - it's like an intense internal (not just under the skin but in the bone) creepy crawly feeling but also crazy feeling.....Kept me from sleeping last nite - it was all I could do not to cut off my own leg....

Anyone else have this and treat it successfully??

GEEZ LOUISE ! Got a problem, they can come up with a desease and name for it. Let's see, surgery, nothin to do (but post) and wrestless legs. Eh, go for a walk, if you can.

Uh Oh, sorry, not PC. I am being harsh on someone I don't know and don't understand their problems. Think I caught hell for this once before. Look out SlimJim, DUCK !

Hows the healing going??
Is this in the bad leg??

On RLS, maybe see a GOOD Chiro, like me ;)

Or cayenne pepper in the diet helps circulation, up the B vits especailly niacin.
Self massage in hot baths.

Not allowed in hot baths yet or hot tubs -- I'm only 2 weeks out of ACL replacement surgery...... I have had this off & on all my life - just more frequent since surgery it seems.....

I'll start taking my vitamins again for a start....

Jenscat, it is a mineral deficiency, specifically in the calcium/magnesium and trace minerals system. Going back on your vitamins is probably the best thing you can do!

if the problem persists there is a drug called requip that is out now to treat RLS.

After I had my ACL operated on I had similar feelings in my legs especially at night. It went away after a while for me though. Wish I could be of more help.

I am a certified nutrition and wellness consultant and I HAD restless leg syndrome for 10 yrs. I use liquid calcium and magnesium at night as Magnesium is a muscle relaxer. I take it at 8 as the dancing legs used to dance at around 9. It has worked for me these last 6 months; it took awhile about 6-8 weeks for it to work but I was on clonepin to stop it and that pill makes it hard to wake up the next morning. At least liquid calcium magenesium is natural. Good luck. C Allen, [email protected]
