OK. I am finding that every 7-8 weeks of training I am having 1 week completely free of training/dieting. Is this OK?

Will I still make gains and see muscle growth?

This pattern is due to random crises my life seems to be throwing at me right now.

I am training 4-5 times a week lifting, 3 x 30 mins cardio and lifting heavy.

Will this break every couple of months affect my progress or is it actually gonna be a benefit to me?
