Rest Days SUCK!

Off days are the best. That is when I know I'm getting bigger. Just focus on your meals and know that growth is the by-product of rest.
 
Do some sort of active recovery. Light stuff to get the blood flowing to the muscles and relieve soreness. Stretching, sled pulling, calisthenics, yardwork, etc. if you are bored and/or feel you should be doing something. Light recovery exercises with Jumpstretch bands are great.
 
Off days are just that... days OFF. It's 2 days a week for me. Enjoy them.

Like Riker said, you need that rest for recovery.
 
I realize rest days are crucial....not my point.....just wanted to know if everyone else HATEs them as much as I do....feel like such a slug.....you guys lower your cals? Heard conflicting theories......

Fuck yeah! Days off mean sleeping in and getting 12-14 hours of sleep, eating like a pig, and sitting around doing nothing. I believe in active recovery to a point, however when doing a decent cycle with a shitload of gear, stimulants, and other drugs you body needs a break every week.
I've been going one full day off every week for this cycle and it has helped me tremendously, not only physically but mentally as well. Spending time with my kids and relaxing helps just as much as an hour in the gym. Those of you who have a family will definitely understand this.:)
 
It is tough to sit around and do nothing. I prefer a game of B-ball or some activity to get my heart rate up, but nothing too strenuous. You have to remeber that when you rest, you grow.
 
It is difficult for me to take a day off as well. I can't stand it becaus ethe gym gives my day such structure. I feel like a lazy pig on off days and i feel gulity about it.
