Anybody have any old (or new) essays or research papers on the disarming of nuclear weapons??? Or know of someone who does or where to get one
I've looked at a few websites that sell them, but can't seem to find this topic.
Any help would be great.
basicly neuclear weapons work when an unstable isotope reacts and sends a chain or domino effect to all the atoms surrounding it of the same unstable isotope. Therefore to disable a neuclear weapon all one would have to do is find the reactant for the unstable istope and remove it from the presence of the unstable isotope. Uramium 45 i believe is the most basic unstable isotope found in these type of weapons. There was someone who graduated from my school and won the nobel prize in chemistry for figuring out how to do this. i don't know much about him. But he came back and talked to my high school.
