Rep range on rack pulls

What kind of rep range do you use for rack pull (i.e. partial deadlifts) for max effort when training for strength. I always use under 6 reps for normal deadlifts but I was thinking since the ROM is less on rack pulls, maybe the reps should be a little higher to compensate for that....
 
Last Saturday we set the pins to where the bar was at 16" and pulled the bar so that it cleared 36" fully. I did it with 410, no straps, 5 reps, rest 5 seconds, 5 reps, rest 5 seconds, then 5 reps. It sucked...lol...
