Removing a stripped bolt??????

It is a round headed allen wrench bolt. I stripped the fuck out of it, tried to get it out with a screw extractor and it is fucking stuck. I tried to drill through but the bolt metal is too hard.

Anyone have any fucking ideas before I kick my motorcycle over in rage?

take a torch to it, get it just hot enough if you don't want to melt it and wack it with a happen, come right off.

Or take a thin saw for cutting metal to it

Whiskey

Apply PB-blast to it, let it soak about ten minutes, apply again, again wait ten minutes, apply heat to it, if the EZ-out is still there, she should break loose.

The thing that use to work for me was find an allen wrench that would fit in it, then wrap the allen wrench in a cloth so that it fits tighter in the hole, and see if you can get it to turn that way.

try to tap a size or two bigger allen wrench into it with a hammer, then Tap the allen wrench on top while your trying to turn it .Vice grips might work if not inset.I know a few other tricks but hard to explain.....If that dont work let me know ill do my best to explain another proven method.

naw man this is the head of a bolt.. not a nut.

Do you have any JB weld? Since the bolt is wasted anyway, use an old allen wrench and JBWeld it to the bolt head.

i dont have a welder handy im gonna bring it to the local shop and have them weld a nut on it.

this has delayed everytihng.... damnit.

JB weld is weld in a tube I believe. See post above. I'd try that, maybe even superglue, but I dont know if that'd hold.
That'll teach you to use the right sized tool. If its a little loose, its not the right one.

Where on your bike is this bolt? Does the head stick out at all? PB blaster it overnight, heat if possible with out burning seals.....what size bolt..4...6...8? I believe there are twist sockets for studs or bolt heads...have you tried that?

Try grinding a slot for a screwdriver, try to turn it with a flat chisel on the edge and hammer it backwards the bolt is probably loctighted in, heat helps if seals arent in the way, drill around the extractor with small drill bit and remove the broken extractor......

How about grinding the head off, then try to extract it cause thats what the shop will do.......hopefully it grinds away the stuck extractor, depends on how deep it is.......

Sorry this was so long but wanted to give you a couple of options.....

Good Luck! :)

This bolt.... This piece of shit bolt is recessed. IT is the bolt that holds the oil level sensor to the oil sump pan. So I got pissed and cut the wire of the oil sensor to get the thing off. Cant grind it off, cant get another tool in there. Cant heat it because it will damage the sensor.

I'm going to bring it to the shop today. If I go near it again I am going to throw it in the river.

P.S. Tell PBR I said hi.

Won't fit in there.

I have tried everything short of summoning an act of god.

So you already considered senting curling a PM on this huh ?
WOW.. Must be a Satanic bolt..

Liquid Nitrogen always works if you can get ahold of some. Use a small drift punch to shatter it once it's frozen.

liquid nitrogen on ebay!!! awesome!!!!

Ebay is the shit bro!

I'll get with my buddy like I said...I seem to remember him having a small, acetylene sized tank of it...freezing up some bell housing bolts and then chipping them loose with a small punch. Didn't damage the threads in the engine block at all.

shit man, that seems like a good investment!!! I spent almost a hundred bucks on bolt removing tools.... all of which fucking broke... k to you!
