Remember when gas was about a buck a gallon?

Back in 1992 I remember going to get gas with my dad for $0.99/g. That's the lowest I remember ever seeing gas in my lifetime.

It was lower than that in '98-'99.

I believe you but I don't remember that. For some reason when it was 99 cents in 1992 I remember that.

I think the lowest I ever saw it in my lifetime was $0.199/gallon during the '60s gas wars.

Now that was a war I could muster up some nostalgia for.

I had a honda 350cc bike i remember filling the tank with about 60 cents and i could ride all day...good times!
