i received a phone call today that had a whole lot of bad news in it
the first was that despite all my squirming, I couldnt avoid going to a massive planning department meeting to discuss my proposal, that I have to wait 8 weeks for, and pay $2000 to apply for
that kinda bummed me out
the second bit was that I have until monday to lodge the remainder of my proposal, which is missing some elements (minor, but tedious)
that bummed me out some more
the third was that a large application fee was required in advance.
that bummed me out heaps, because it meant that I just wasted 3 months of my life, and that the proposal I was talking about in this thread: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/c...pray-me-you-fat-shits-573591.html#post7772796 was dead
so there i was, feeling dejected, and I asked if I could rewrite my proposal etc so as to maybe have a chance of getting it through the department. the girl i was talking to replied "no."
then a heartbeat later she said "i edited out the bits you dont need. just make sure you get the rest of the application in to me by monday"
i was a tad confused (i was sad, wtf do you want me to say - everything i was dreaming about just fell flat on its face) and said "ok and if i do that, then what happens?"
and she replied "then at the next meeting, itll be approved"
