Reducing Estrogen too much with Arimidex.

We all know that you can reduce estrogen too much by taking too large a dose of Arimidex a day. And that some would say you hould have a salivary test done after the first week to confirm a correct doseage.

However what do you guys think the sides of too little estrogen in the male body would be?

We do? While I understand estrogen plays a large role in our bodies I have yet to see anyone get blood work done and show their estrogen levels are too low while on a cycle. Thats not to say it doesnt happen, but I dont feel its that common. Actually most of the test results I have seen have shown levels double normal or more, even a week or 2 after cycle.

As for getting a test done after the first week, this also brings along some problems, blood concentrations of AAS will likely be higher the last week of cycle than they will the firts, especially if its just a flat dosed cycle, so getting a test done first week may not be a good indicator.

Thanks zyglamail. I agree reguarding the blood work in relation to AAS.

The test was in relation to your saliva ( mouth swab, no blood )and only to check the estrogen levels and how they have reacted to the arimidex only.

i was reading a very interesting report on the sometimes unknown effects of arimidex. e.g. low estrogen levels.
it stated that in most people taking over 1mg per day would cause problems but in those more sensitive 0.5mg per day would cause the same problems as 1mg per day in others.

Just wondering on your thoughs on this new research?

I will try and find the report again and post it to this thread.

Lemme know when ya find the link. From what I have seen doses over 1mg ED offer little advantage in regards to estrogen suppression. Also I have yet to see research done on men using AAS. Most studies are done on post menapausal women who naturaly have low E levels to begin with. As for varying reaction to anastrozole that pretty much a given with anything, people will react differently to all sorts of things so some variation can be expected.

i know that most of the studies are done in women. but i did see on one of the patent information sheet with novartis for femara that in studies as little as 0.05mg of letrolzole significantly lowered estrogen and increased LH production.

Its all about cause and effect. The lowering of the estrogen is what causes an increase in LH. Let is a very powerfull but it is a bit tough to accuratly compare a post menapausal woman to a man on 1g test/wk.

Dry skin and hair. Some have complained of loss of sex drive (this does not happen to me though)...

Estrogen will actually contol your choleserol levels keeping them from getting to out of whack. This is why I think Nolvadex is probably a better drug to use unless you are doing a contest prep. Nolvadex doesn't stop estro conversion like armidex, instead blocking it at the receptor site.

I heard from somewhere that is also acts like lubrication and too little can cause aches in joints.
Don't take my word on that, I just remember hearing it somewhere.

this happens to me after ONE FUCKING DAY of .5 arimidex.

(no juice, I only did it on no juice to try to jack test levels)
