From what I understand E and C both interrupt the natural Dopamine, Nor-Epinephrine, and Seratonin levels in the brain, hence the "high". The problem exists when the body is suddenly without these fast-acting- extended half-life drugs, the time spent re-adjusting can be hellish and lead to further usage. Add this to the re-adjustment period coming off of AAS and it could spell major depression.
This is just the obvious psychological implication,but also realize when you injest ANYTHING to speed up the cardio and metabolic systems, it ages your body that much faster. This is why there are 20 year old speed freaks dropping dead with 90 year old hearts...
