RECOVERY -- WHen Does it REALLY Start?

Just a reminder.

Everyone knows about PCT, even though opinions vary on what's the best approach. (Or more accurately, some people just follow outdated modes of doing PCT, thinking they're being safe). But PCT just helps in part. There's more to recovery than the HPTA and there's more to building muscle than a high testosterone level.

First, there's nitrogen retention. And often overlooked, there's blood volume. That's right. You rarely hear people talking about this, but blood quality and volume is a huge part of muscle growth. Ever notice how quickly the muscle gets full when training on roids? That's enriched blood. It also send nutrients to the mitochondria. Put it all together, and you get thicker fuller muscles.

So, even if your HPTA is recovered, you're missing these two vital aspects of steroid use -- nitrogen retention and blood volume. And it's the reason why it's almost impossible to maintain all your gains.

Now guys who know how to train and diet and supplement can circumvent this, to a degree. But the whole process is a lot easier if you add two simple supps -- GEAR and BRIDGE.

These are both geared to the enhanced athlete. Most GNC types would have on interest in these supps. They wouldn't even know what they do. But for guys who invest in serious muscle building, they may very well be the most important additions you can take to keep the gains going. We're always looking for opinions -- good or bad. Let us know.

Bodybuilding is 365 days a year. Yeah, we'r a little insane. But it's worth it. And I have no shame in taking every advantage I can. :)

I was always under the impression that "gains are gains", therefore what you are not able to keep when "off" is due to the fact that, as you explained about the additions gear bring to the table, you are no longer "super-charged", but if you continue to maintain the fundamentals of bodybuilding such as diet, training and rest should you not be successful in keeping most of your gains?

Yes, and if you can maintain what the steroids did, WITHOUT steroids! That's the tough part, but we're more ahead of the game than ever before.

So then for the most part, I realize this varies, but in your opinion what would be the best known compounds for ones PCT and how would they go about this? I'm curious compound specific wise. In the past you expressed how Nolvadex is hardly beneficial or effective today as well as Proviron. Are yo able to expound along those lines?

I never said Proviron wasn't beneficial, though with UNLEASHED you can get a similar effect with less sides.

As it stands, I think the ideal PCT is HMG, UNLEASHED, POST CYCLE, HCGenerate and Aromasin followed by BRIDGE and GEAR.

Lets also not forget about focus, aggression and energy as well. I been saying this for year now. Active recovery is much more then just the hpta although this is the foundation of pct its not the full building. Why make a building 5 stories high only to go all the way back to foundation again when its over. Or if you are lucky a foundation with a story or two left on it. do everyhting you can to keep everything you have built.

Another great adds to pct would be need2slin

This will help drive carbohydrates into the muscles for muscle fuel among other things. Its not jut a fat burner its a muscle feeder as well. This will help prevent that quick drop in muscle loss onne gets right after a cycle. combined with gear they cover both protein and carbohydrate synthesis making sure your muscles all they need so they don't shrink up.

I love the Bridge product. Its one more great way to keep that much more of your gains from one cycle to the next. I also like the Idea of adding in a few short runs of sarms with the gear between cycles. When using this method one can allow for complete hpta recovery between cycles yet at the same time keep every once of there gains and even gain some from one cycle to the next. Using a combo of the products metioned in this thread you can end up going into your next cycle bigger then when you ended your last cycle and ready to add on more.

You would like to think so but most often that is not the case. Yes most of the gains can be kept this way so long as you do a good pct. However we are talking about taking it to another level now and truly keeping everything if not gaining more from one cycle to the next here.

We all know its like 10 steps forward ( on cycle) 5 steps pack ( off cycle). Now with active pct recovery we can recover more then just the hpta or should I say we can Keep the cycle going so to speak... AKA 10 steps forward and only 7 steps back. IMO using the products mentioned during pct ( along with other things) then using the bridge with blast or sarms method. From one cycle to the next you could gain a hell of a lot more.
