REAL quick.... what do you think the BF% is roughly?

in my avatar. Pic was taken last June. I know its hard to tell but take a good guess for me. I was thinking about 7-8%. I used the shitty hand held tester and it told me 15% :mad: . Id like to believe that I was a little less then that. Im gonna try to beat it this year.

I was gonna let that one slide, I got a little pissed at that at first, but im guessing that was a compliment, but hey, if the ladies think I have a Brad Pitt look at 210lbs, 230-240 in the offseason, then I guess thats cool :D
 
I was going to say around 8% or 7%, the lower abs are not showing any seperation and assuming they are developed the same as the upper ones which are showing, they should be at 6% for sure.

For a decent bf% if you want to try it, go to: www.mybodycomp.com. I usually get within .5% of what I test out to with the trainer at the gym.

You are correct about the lower abs, I could not get them to come out, I even pushed out another 3 weeks of extra cardio and diet trying to get them to show but no luck. I had a couple veins running over them, but couldnt get them out. That is definately gonna be my goal this year. The other thing Im shooting for is more defined tear drops which you cant see in the avatar. I really didnt use to many drugs to achieve my goal, concentrated mainly on my diet and cardio to get me there which was definately tough, but I would much rather do it that way than using harsher drugs. I went from 235 down to around 205 in 14 weeks. Im gonna add some extra cardio in towards the end this year and make a couple changes to my diet.
 
How do you get the hip lines so deep? No matter how cut I am, I have been at %5, I have absolutely no Hip lines...

Themachine......looking really solid bro. I read over your thread and didn't see anything mentioned about your diet/AS, could you elaborate on the diet and AS you used to get to that look?

Thats why the shorts are so low :D I love the deep hip lines. To honest with you, I dont know. Thats the best Ive had them look but i couldnt tell you what I did different to get them like that. When I begin to bulk up they are the first to go along with my pec definition. I tend to put fat around my pecs first which absolutely pisses me off because I hate having fat in that area, and the puffy nips in the offseason suck too.

When i started cutting up last year I was around 15-16% BF, too high for my likings but it happened. I ran a light cycle, 500mg test with 400mg EQ per week to help maintain muscle, probably could have went a little higher on the test but it worked well. About 3 weeks before the pics I bumped the cardio up to 30mins AM and 30mins PM which made a noticeable difference. The week before the pics I used Taraxatone to drop some water weight that I was holding from my sodium intake. Nothing too complicated, like I said I like to concentrate mostly on my diet and cardio.

Im currently back up to about 15% BF again and looking forward to starting my diet. I just pulled my pics out of the closet for some motivation. Thanks for the compliments.

dude themachine01 your stacked son, to save yourself a lot of headache I would just post your diet tommorow when ur not as tired cause I would assume Im not the only person gonna pm you for your diet/as history
 
dude, i may be asking you a lot of questions in the coming months. my body type and muscle shape is extremely similar to yours, except that you're probably much taller (i'm only 5'11" and 175 lbs) and are definitely in much better shape and MUCH bigger. you should take this as a compliment, because that avatar of yours has been giving me motivation to get my ass in shape; especially by this summer. so i'm might be askin you for some cutting advice in a couple months! lookin good man.

Good idea, I will post my diet tomorrow. thanks for the compliment. My AS history is only about 4 years long, nothing complicated and always light, always test plus EQ or deca, only once have I never went above 750mg/test per week. I have been told many times to break the 1g mark but I have had no need to since I get great results off of 750mg.

I have other pics that were taken that day but I would have to scan them and I dont have a scanner, I had a buddy scan that one for me.

Thanks again everyone for the compliments, they definately mean a lot to me, and also is getting my psyched to start cutting up again.

Well Matto, Im 5'11" as well, so no taller. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have but by no means am I any kind of guru, I had many years of trial and error and found what worked best for me, last year I felt everything was in check and I ended up looking the best I have ever looked.

machine........do keep us posted on your progress bro., I'll definitely be checking on how your diet, training, etc.... is coming along. Are you currently on anything, also how old are you?
 
Hi mate Did you only stick to incline walking for your cardio? I've heard that pushing the cardio too much is a sure way to lose muscle? Cheers
 
If anyone wants the hip lines all you have to do is twisting situps & crunches I am a Thai kickboxer and that is how you develope power in your punches. But beware if you do these while on a cycle your obliques will get big fast. I believe the lines come from the obliques tying in with the lower abs. Hope this helps.
 
Here it is....

meal1 -3/4C oats, splenda, cinn / 2 scoops protein (50g)

meal2 -10oz chicken / 2 tbsp natty PB (no carbs)

meal3 -Either another chicken meal or 10oz ground beef with chili powder/ 2 tsbp natty PB (no carbs)

meal4 -1C cooked rice / chicken
TRAIN

Postworkout -1C oats, splenda, cinnamin / 75g protein powder

1.5 hrs later - 1C rice / chicken

Meal7 -50g protein before bed

SLEEP


I use dextrose PW while bulking then switch over to oats, I felt that the dextrose was holding me back. I have tried it both ways and feel that the oats work better.
 
my energy levels felt the same to be honest with you. If I had a really intense or longer workout I would add a little box of raisons in the oatmeal to add some sugars.
 
I've been in contact with a PT that posts over at Chad Nicholl's board. He's 234lbs and roughly 6% bodyfat, natural. He uses 3 scoops of Protein Powder and 3/4 cup of white corn grits post workout. I might give it a try after years of using simple sugar/whey protein post workout. This is the first time I'm REALLY serious about dieting.
 
If you have a fast metabolism ad you are not very carb sensitive than you most likely can continue to use a simple sugar such as dextrose for post workout. I am carb sensitive and if im not careful with them I put on fat real easy. I using keep the dextrose post workout until about the last 8 weeks of cutting, thats when I drop the dextrose and start using oats and if needed, some raisons.

Really! Pull yer drawers up! :) Depends on what your weight is. A 200# man with 10# of fat is 5% while a 100# woman with the same pounds of fat on her boody is 10%. I would guess you 6-7% just offf the pic. fuck it, the mirror is what matters, And you look good.

I just started a prop,eq cutting cycle.5'10" 180 at 16%bf
When you say oats, you mean oatmeal? what kind?
I work out at 7pm so i figured i could do oats+whey post workout
then whey,cottage cheese, combo before bed.

I have always went by the mirror, but when that hand held tester told me 15% I nearly smashed it on the floor, I wanted to see it say about 6-7%. In this pic I was between 200 and 201lbs.

I dont add any additional carbs to the meal, I use the natty PB to get extra calories in since it is hard to keep calories up when cutting most of the carbs out, and I also use it to add some good fat to my diet.

I spent the last 5 months bulking up and I plan on starting my 14 week cutting phase in about 2 weeks. I guess between week 12 and 14 there really wasnt that much of a difference, only a couple lbs of water dropped.

Themachine, hey bro did you have any cheat days/carb up days or was your diet strict throughout the 14 week phase?
 
This was the first time I went the entire time without 1 cheat day, not even a cheat meal, I had a goal and felt that my progress would be slowed down if I pigged out 1 day or for 1 meal. I definately felt that I had much better results without cheat days, I know there are some on here that will argue that and feel that you need cheat days, but Im going by results. I know it sounds tough to go without cheat days, but it actually kept the cravings lower than when I cheated.
 
those hip lines are very impressive, I would agree that it's the seperation from the lower abs into the obliques.
