RAM question

If it's a premade system advertised with a 64 bit OS then it probably can accept more than 4 gigs, but DDR3 is faster. Additionally if you were doing anything that required more than that you'd need something with a faster/quad core processor anyways to keep up, so yeah I'd go with DDR3, especially long term.
 
Go with the DDR3 4 gig

I assume it still has slots for an upgrade, IMO
So you can turn it into a 6 gb DDR 3 down the road for short money
