I wouldn't be opposed to a long term relationship with someone I was very good friends with. I wouldn't need a wedding to have that committment. It wouldn't likely go over well with my family, but ultimately if I'm being true to myself, I don't care what anyone thinks.

I would love to meet someone, run off with them, have a bunch of pets, maybe some kids, and that's that. Instead of a wedding I'll just write "mine" on their back, sign it, and stamp it. It'll look official then. I shall only use my notary power for good though....

We'd all like that grandeur quality of life but it isn't rational thinking. In the end, everything falls apart, this morbid mortal coil we live in, just so we can spawn some fucked up brats to take our place seems common practice. Who needs it, not me.

Franco, agree. I am realistic....that's just my pretty happy mental picture. I don't need anyone else to be happy. I'm quite content to just live and love and learn. If I end up with someone long term, great. If not, great. I'll love life either way.
