60 of my employees including myself were layed off a half year back and my boss told me he'd give me a call when things started bouncing back, yeah right

Within two days of whoring my resume around I found a great oppurtunity and was hired on spot.

6 months later the guy that I interned for is about to retire and i'm being promoted into his position

getting layed off worked out for the better

Well here in CR it´s pretty fair.... in US not so much... in FL I{m gonna do tech support, it pays from $15 to $40 an hour as either helpdesk or onsite tech....

Go for onsite tech if you can. I've heard that pays much better then listening to people complain over the phone. Plus you can actually fix the problem.
