Has anyone seen this movie? I found it to be very intruiging. It is the true story of the Marquis de Sade , and his publishing of his protested writings. It kept me very interested. Anyone have any opinions on it?

Cool movie. It's not the first time I thought I was stepping into a 'chick flick' and wound up enjoying it.

Two things:

1.
The architect. There's the beginning of stealing the boss's wife and running away with her. Not only did she start it but before they left they had sex all over the house.

2.
The priest. He should have seen the end coming and called for clerical backup. The inquition dudes would have barged in and strung up all the heretics and witches.

I'll stop here. I don't want to give much away for those who want to see it.

The film is basically about censorship. It did a great job of showing both sides of a contemporary problem in an historical setting.

Plus Kate Winslet showed her boobies. Great rack on that girl. :)
