Quick quad injection question please help!

I'm a bit confused as to where/how to do my quad injection. On the spotinjections that guys quad goes down lower than mine. In his leg his quads dominate while mine are the exact opposite, my hams dominate my legs. He's shooting it from the side is it bad to shoot straight down? I saw a pic posted by Terinox a while ago about where to do it and it looked different than spotinjections. Any help would be much appreciated as the needle is in my hand waiting impatiently ;)

Thanks a lot bro! Also is there much of a chance of hitting nerves there? I didn't think so but I just read a backpost from AR that has me all paranoid now about how some guy had his leg feel like it was asleep for 4 months from a quad injection gone wrong! I would think he just did it in the wrong place but as this is my second injection _ever_ and my first quad injection I'm a bit nervous.

I don't think it really matters where you inject as long as
there is alot dense muscle tissue to inject into.
From last 2 cycles 8yrs ago, I use to do quad in the front upper section.
I only starting to shoot in the outer quad with past couple of weeks.

*Always remember to aspirate with every shot*

At risk of repeating what the others say......

Inject about halfway down your thigh. If you sit down and flex your quad you will see a big lump of meat pop out.....put the needle in there. Keep the needle perpendicular (at a 90 degree angle) to the skin.

As far as nerves go......if I remember correctly, the quads contain more nerves than glutes, but the nerves are smaller (so if you hit them the damage shouldn't be as serious). You can usually tell when you are getting close to the nerve because the muscle will twitch a little......

Oh and as 2snakes said, aspirate......

Thanks for the help guys. I was really nervous doing quads after reading that AR post. I started to do it and it hurt more than my delt did so I got a bit scared and pulled out and decided to shoot tri's instead. That went well though. I think I might switch to glutes rather than quads. Thanks again!

Shoot your quads... there are three different muscles to shoot. The long outer muscle, the top center muscle, and the lower inner muscle right above the knee (sorry, but i don't know the scientific names). As long as your not fat in the legs, you can shoot at a slight angle- i think it alleviates some pain, personally. And always aspirate...

I shot at a 45 degree angle in outer upper region of my thigh, hurt like a bitch. I might try again, not sure. I have like zero fat in my legs, they are rock hard.

Dude, you might have more nerve endings in your legs. I actually can shoot one quad with no pain at all, but the other one hurts like a bitch!

Ditto to sk

and yes it does matter where you inject, the top and inside of your leg is much more vascular than the outer quad.
