Quick clam sauce - YUM YUM

3 tbs olive oil
2 tbs garlic - crushed
1 large can (2 small) of clams w/ juice
3 tbs oregano (italian seasoning works too)
Fresh pepper (or white pepper)
Crushed red pepper (or powered)

Optional stuff:

1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup pasta sauce


saute garlic and clams in olive oil. add oregano, pepper and red pepper. Add optional items if desired.


Serve over pasta and if you like a quick squeeze of lemon.
 
Adding a good wine will definately bring that sauce to life. Nice receipe!
 
That sounds gooooood. My mom used to make what I think is what you just posted and would throw it ontop of some noodles. I could eat that all day I think except I'd probably get fat. I'm gonna have to write this down.
