Hey guys,
I am going in to see a plastic surgeon within the next week, for gyno surg. and I was wondering what suggestions do you guys have for questions for DR.
I have thought of a few, maybe you guys could add to the list.

1. Where is the incision
2. Is it possible to remove the glands
3. are you going to use lipo
4. How long til I work out
5. What Kind of anesthesia

also maybe there Is questions I shouldn't bring up that you guys would know of-- thanx guys, later

I have had mine out and also am in a medical field and can tell you that depending on the severity of your gyno really depends on certain things they will do. For starters, they removed the entire gland from mine, so getting gyno now really is not a concern for me. Thats kind of nice. Also, your incision will more than likely be under your nipple. Dont worry, you will not be able to see a scar if your surgeon is good enough. You may want to ask him if he has any before and after pictures that he can show you. Mine had quite a few so I new what to expect for results. You will also more than likely wake up with a drain in each side, and wrapped in a sort of rib belt. The drains are for the bleeding, which you may encounter some of, and the rib belt type dressing is for compression to help control any bleeding. Remember one thing, when he tells you the drains will not hurt coming out, he is lying, they hurt like a bitch. My Dr. asked me to not work out hard for about 5 months. He primarily wanted me to stay away from any type of chest routine involving alot of stretching. Overall, it is not a bad procedure. Again this depends on the severity, and mine was pretty bad. Just try to find out if he has any before and after photos. Even if they are not from a gyno case. Most plastic surgeons take photos not including the face so he should show you some. Good luck and let me know if I can help in any other way, or with any other questions. Especially after you are through with surgery.
