Questions about HST

I'm picking out what exercises I want to use for my first cycle and according to most of the guys on http://www.hypertrophy-specific.com/ deadlifts and squats together will burn you out pretty quick. How should these be alternated? Heres a rough idea of what I'll be doing, please help me fine tune this. :)

calves
seated calve raise 2 sets

quads
squats (alternate with leg press) 1 set

hams
leg curls 1 set

lower back
deadlifts 1 set

Abs
weighted crunches 2 sets

chest
incline bench 2 sets

Upper Back
Pulldowns 1 set
bent rows 1 set

Arms
inc db curls 2 sets
skulls 2 sets

Shoulders
Overhead Press 1 set
Upright rows 1 set
Shrugs 1 set
 
I may as well ask a 'lil question too! If you don't already know your 15, 10, or 5 rep max is it ok to spend the first week finding that out right and then the next week getting into the normal hst routine or will it mess up the whole idea of "progressive load"?
 
Audiophyle: Pair Leg press with deadlifts and Leg curl with squats. Alternate those two groupings.

Lavi: if you're going to take a week to find maxes, you need to take an SD in between that and starting the routine.

As a side note I'm starting a new HST thread; hopefully that'll get linked to and we can put questions in there.
