Questions about HIT

Should HIT be used when bulking? My personal goals to gain mass/strength, so would HIT be a good program to try? I was looking at some sample programs of HIT and I was a little confused. For an example, the program included 1 set of squat for 15 reps. If I can do more than 15 reps, should I do more or stop at 15? Should every set for every exercise be taken to failure? I like the idea of doing 1 set for every exercise. Whats your personal experiance with HIT? will only be able to lift on Tuesdays & Thursdays until July. Is it possible to make a good HIT plan using only those 2 days?

If you can only get into the gym on Tuesday's and Thursday's, then you are gonna have to do something like HIT. As for your specific questions, someone else may be able to answer them.

hit can mean (not exclusive) :

Arthur Jones (nautilus) +

Old school HIT

Dorian Yates' (one set philosophy, higher frequency of training)

Mentzer HIT (the most contraversial and my least favorite)

Even Stuart McRobert and the hardgainer school are described by many as HIT.
