Would it be wasteful to start a cycle if say you haven't trained in 6 months, but have been training on and off for over 10 years.
 
6' 3" 250 pounds, been doing cardio, push-ups and sit ups, approx 15% bf

My thoughts are that you should lift w/o chemicals for a few months before starting. If you are like me, I made good gains after taking a "break" (jail) and no cycle, not even supps. Your body really responds to the new stress. However I re-plateaued fairly quickly. Enter gear.
 
Gains will most likely be lost shortly after finishing the cycle if they're acquired without a solid foundation. Your call.
