Question: why is greenland called greenland?

Answer:

Because back then the Vikings drove huge ass Viking hummers and other SUVs, and had enormous axe making factories with smoke stacks that polluted the great land and caused global warming (hence the Greenland, not white icy snow shitland like we have today)

but after a while, their pollution ( what they thought was a good thing ) turned the land so hot all the Vikings died, and no one was there to drive their massive polluting vehicles and run their enormous axe making factories and then the atmosphere settled down and it once again turned into a shitty land filled with ice and snow...the end!.......dont believe the lies my friends

because the guy who discovered greenland and iceland was told he can have one of them so he switched the names so the king would give him iceland which in fact was green

Actually, it was a marketing ploy to sell time shares by Erik the Red....:)

LOL I guess you could call it the first marketing ploy ever

I guess the bud who discovered was Mr. Green? the same reason we have a Disneyland? :)
and btw, is that greenland an American colony?
