Question on Low Serum Testosterone

Turned 40 this year and it looks like I'm HRT bound; got my bloodwork results back today and:

Serum testosterone: 196 ng/dL
Free testosterone: 6.8 pg/mL

I did have a concern that the doctor thought my prostate was larger than normal but my PSA came back at 0.6 ng/ml so I guess I'm good to start my next cycle.

The only question I had was should I have estradiol and prolactin checked before I start my cycle since they were not done in the recent blood work?

Might as well get E1 and E2 checked. Although even knowing your levels there isn't much you can do about them. I haven't had mine checked in 6 years. Not much point in it for me, and soon for you.
