Question on arm day log

So I keep a log for my normal routine but lately I have been incorporating a second arm day into my routine. I was just wondering if for those of you who have seperate arm days if you keep a strict log or if instead you just go into the gym with a basic idea of what exercises youll do and destroy your arms with weights that feel right. I feel like since I'm not really geared towards PR's with an arm day I could skip the whole recording weights and just go into the gym with a basic set of exercises I'll be doing that day.

Do you think skipping out on a log is ok, or should I be keeping track of every weight?

Yeah I figured that for a sole arm day I could just head in without making a legit training log with weights and just go till my arms give out. Hows that sound? Keep in mind I am also doing the 5x5 with this so I am definitely getting adequate training, the arm day is more of a fun thing for me to pump my often neglected vanity muscles haha.

What's wrong with an arm day? If you want to get into the gym and did everthing else you wanted to accomplish that week just do it for fun. EM, you always say you don't work you arms separately like it's a badge of honor.

I say it often because I feel that alot of people dont need alot or any direct arm work, arms are often over worked...

Haha easssyy guys.

I realize squats and deads will do more for my arms than almost any direct arm program would. But what I am saying is after all my big lifts(squats dead bench mil press) are said and done I like to dedicate a day solely to arms to give them more direct work and really pump them up(call me vain). I would certainly say that a seperate arm day is beneficial if you have free space in your routine.
