Question from first timer..

I'm 5'9, 142lbs.. always been too small and can't build any sort of mass .. never been involved with athletics previously but now want to bulk up and be more satisfied with the way i look (summer coming up of course)...

I need some advice on a cycle to run to get the most out of it.. focusing more on the upper body than anything (forgive newbie talk...)...

well whether or not you build upper body more than lower is all up to you, not the gear. But I'll save everyone else some time and ask how long you've been working out? how's your diet and sleep? how often do you workout and to what intensity?

If you're bulking for summer, you've got lots of time to toss some weight on, but be prepared to see some water retention gains, and bloat. But like I've said, you'll have lots of time to cut before summer hits.

So let us know your stuff, and you'll be on the road to buff in no time.

Well i've been working out about 4-6 weeks now.. can't really remember when i started for sure... diet.. i quit all carbonated beverages (coke, beer, etc).. i'm eating high protein meals as well as taking protein shakes at least once a day...i generally work out 3-5 days a week depending on work schedules, etc.. the intensity is 15 rep sets, generally working my way down until i get to a point where i physically cannot do one more rep... the 'burn' feels good after the workout.. the tightness.. my sleep patterns aren't very good though, mostly because of a weird work schedule.. but i will admit i started with some advice from a friend who went down the same route i'm going down.. got me a bottle of aratest.. did 1cc every 2 days for the last 2&1/2 or 3 wks or so... i am noticing some difference ... little bit of mass on the biceps and pecs, some more definition in the forearms too... but i'm kind of curious if this is the best route for me.. maybe something better i could try for what i'm trying to accomplish...

Aside for the gear thing, what's this about only building upper body? Do you wish to be made fun of at the gym? Do you want to be known as the beach muscle guy? You need to sit down and do some thinking, you're doing this all wrong.

Ask this question again after you have done one thousand squats.

jeezus...can't we screen these members?

try learning about training, eating, recovery and general knowledge and THEN ask about gear.

try training for a year striclty upper body

then try a year with squats and deadlifts....

then tell me you'd rather focus just on upper body.what would u do in the summer? wear pants to the beach? lol

The reason I'm only building the upper body is that for the last 5-8 years I have always found a way to keep my legs in great shape... either through rollerblading, walking, or some other method of exercise... my legs are well defined and are the strongest part of my body... but as of now i do get made fun of... because my top half is so small...and the reason i ask about the gear is that i'm already trying it..i just want to make sure i use teh correct combination to get the results i want...

Dude, it's not time for you do use steroids yet. Learn how to eat, learn how to train, and put on 20 pounds naturally first. This may take as little as 1.5 to 2.5 years to do. Don't fuckin look at this and say "fuck that, I'm not waiting that long." Consider this a prerequisite to steroids. Once you learn what you are doing you will be very happy with the gains you will make. Training and nutrition needs to be the focus of anyone looking to grow mass.

Run your cycle something like this... Dbol~~~~ 0 mg/day
Deca~~~~ 0mg/week
Test~~~~~ 0/week
Food~~~5,000 Callories/day MINNIMUM

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Well, could someone give me some tips then.. Learn to do this, Learn to do that.. someone "learn me somethin"... like I said.. i've always been scrawny and never been able to put on the pounds no matter what i try eating... give me some tips on that please...

Ok, I think it's time for people to stop flaming you. It's just that when someone has only been working out for 4-6 weeks and wants to take steroids it shows no heart or love for the sport whatsoever. If you need diet or training info post on the diet and training board, you'll get better answers there.

And like I said in my previous post - Don't ask any gear questions until after you've done one thousand squats - it's really not that many.

you're probably right on the heart for the sport comment.. my real thing is that i've never been even close to satisfied with the way i look.. i'm wanting to change that no matter what it takes now, and i *have* tried to put on weight before but just seem to have problems doing so... just like most, i want the "get rich quick" scheme for this and want to find out the easiest and quickest way to start liking myself better.. so if you all seem to agree that juicing isn't the best way to go, and a diet change is.. help me with that diet please :) or whatever comments you *can* help me with

A few tips:

1st- Get the hell off this forum (anabolics), go to the training board and the supplement board. There is nothing but trouble for you here.

2nd- EAT everything, don't worry about limiting your fat/carbs right now.

3rd- I can't stress this enough, WORK YOUR LEGS! - this is your key to weight gain.

4th- Fuck the juice, and hit some creatine. This will help your strength and weight.

5th- Lift heavy with 8-10 reps and 3-4 sets per bodypart.

its not just heart...you dont know how to train or eat you dont know anything...once again...if i knew you id slap you around sorry heres too much to be learned.....EVERYTHING you said was wrong in so many ways
