Question for Blackberry experts

I have a BB 8830 "World Edition" that works in both CDMA and GSM. Right now i'm using my provider's CDMA network but I also have a SIm card inside with a different cell # from Vodaphone Spain. Now I was wondering if it could work in both networks at the same time and with both cell # without having to manually switch everytime.

hmm dont know manny i have one also..hey im going to thaliand will it work automatically or do i have to call telus

I don't think this can happen. If you really needed to you could put one of the SIMs in a different phone and set it to forward to your BB.

You have to go in "manage connections", then Mobile network options and select "Global" in Network Mode and for Network selection mode, have it on "automatic". It will automatically switch to GSM (roaming) in Thailand with a local company (cause Bell has agreements in most countries). But be careful with roaming fees... lol You might as well just pick a SIM card in Thailand with a different phone number so your local calls wont cost you a fortune.

Your phone may not work. Telus is CDMA and CDMA is only prevalent in North America. The rest of the world uses GSM (Fido / Rogers).
